Charlotte: Can you introduce your blog and how it came about?

When I found out in 2018 that I was expecting a girl after two boys, I was so excited that I scoured the internet to find all the amazing girl clothes I had ever seen. Meanwhile, I kept getting asked where I shopped for my boys, so I kept emailing people links.

I decided to put all that positive energy into a passion project and started my first blog Preppy Little Ones. Shortly after, Covid hit and I felt guilty about posting frivolous posts about fashion and took a short break.

Almost three years after I started blogging, I renamed and founded Brittany Anna Rose. As a mother and entrepreneur, I have always had a passion for fashion and all things exclusive.

I am known for having high standards for everything from love and manners to table and home decor to fashion and children’s clothes and everything in between.

My blog consists of two main parts: The High BAR, curated articles that meet my highest standards and are usually investment pieces, and

The Side BAR

These are items that reflect current trends

and have the same strength at affordable prices. My goal is to bring exciting new finds from all price ranges.

I also post interviews on The Low Down to encourage and support other women. My motto is:

“Be a fountain and not a drain!”

Charlotte: Pink, bows and Pink dress with pearls are your trademark, what do they mean to you?

I’ve always had an affinity for all three.

That is why they are embedded in my brand. I was lucky enough to be introduced to the world of Coco Chanel in my early twenties and at the same time discover my own essence. There were two of her quotes that really stood out to me.

“It’s not about the looks, it’s about the essence. It’s not about the money, it’s about the training. It’s not about the clothes, it’s about the class.”

ALL ABOUT THE MADISON DRESS

Charlotte: Can you tell us about the inspiration behind the dress?

Creating the Madison dress was truly a dream come true. I am extremely happy with the result and very grateful for this magical experience.

The Pink dress with pearls is very symbolic in many ways.

First the material. I was inspired by the pink looks from the Chanel Cruise ’23 collection and especially my jacket.

I love matching my daughter and wanted something to match. Monique, the designer at Charlotte sew Dimby, went on a “fabric treasure hunt” and found the perfect pink striped organza. It was exactly what I envisioned as a statement party dress.

And then tie it! Since Madison’s first birthday,

I have carried on a tradition passed down from her grandmother.

Every year I give her a 5-piece tableware set (complete with teapot).

Charlotte sy Dimby’s hand-stitched bows look almost identical to the tableware decor. I knew right away that they had to be part of the design.

Charlotte: Can you tell us about the accessories you chose to style the dress?

Shoes were the very first shoes I bought for Madison,

so I’ve always had a soft spot for them. It felt natural to choose one of her designs for the party. I chose Josie Scallop sandals. They are perfect for our warm weather and the bow detail caught my eye right away.

For the hair bow, I chose a Pink dress with pearls monogram bow found here. It fit beautifully and added a chic touch.

And no party would be complete without a party hat. The pink hat with bow and embroidery from Storybook Goods was just what we needed for the event.

We used this special monogrammed party hat to celebrate Madison’s birthdays and it’s definitely something we appreciate.

The pink striped skirt made of transparent organza and the wide collar

with frills give the design a romantic touch. The tie at the back gives the sophisticated finish. With its triple skirt layer, this dress is perfect for twirling.

ALL ABOUT MADISON’S BIRTHDAY PARTY

Charlotte: A beautiful dress calls for a special celebration.

Can you tell us more about it?

Madison didn’t have a proper first or second birthday party due to the pandemic, so we’re making up for lost time.

This year, it was clear that pink ribbons would be the main theme of her soiree.

When she turns four, she obviously wanted her contribution to be noticed, so she was asked to add rainbows and unicorns, two of her favorite things. She even asked Santa for a unicorn for Christmas and he gave her one a few hours before her birthday. It was THE big party at this year’s party!

We decided to throw an outdoor party for all her best friends with lots of fresh flowers.
