Episode 1: Someone who lives in the exact opposite world to me

In episode 1 of My Dress Up Darling, “Someone Who Lives in the Complete Opposite World to Me”, Wakana Gojou deeply loved her grandfather’s profession of making Hina dolls. Wakana was overwhelmed by the beauty and grace of the creations and wanted to follow in his grandfather’s footsteps.

But when one of his young friends discovered that he liked dolls, she exploded in indignation. How dare he do something that was clearly meant for little girls?

She screamed that she hated him and stormed off. After that he stopped making new friends. Years later, now in high school, he kept his passion a secret. Until Marin Kitagawa, one of the most popular girls in high school, made him borrow the sewing machine from home economics class because his sewing machine at home was broken. How will she react? Will she blow his cover? Should he find another school?

Episode 4: Are These From Your Girlfriend?

, Wakana Gojou is faced with a terrible realization: he’s never made an outfit for an adult before, and he doesn’t think he’ll be able to in time can Marin create Kitagawa’s cosplay event! That was before his grandfather fell and injured himself (not seriously!) and Wakana realized midterms were next week! Does Wakana have a chance to finish the cosplay outfit in time? Or will he leave Marin bitterly disappointed?

In My Dress Up Darling episode 5, “It’s Probably Why This Is the Best Chest Bag Here”, Marin Kitagawa liked Wakana Gojou’s costume so much that she couldn’t wait for him to take pictures. In fact, she was so happy with the costume that she could barely calm down to get into the role! But she succeeded. The pictures were so good that she felt inspired to go to the cosplay event. She asked Wakana to come with her. Given Wakana’s reaction to the crowd, is this such a good idea? Is the suit really finished or are there still problems?

Was her doll collection in danger? What did this young woman really want from them?

 in the limelight. Marin, with the help of Wakana Gojou, makes her an offer she may not be able to refuse. Later, to prepare for the next cosplay outfit, Marin offers to lend Wakana her DVD box of the series. He only needs to watch 126 episodes! Does he have the strength to get through them all? Does watching with Marin help – or hurt the effort?

His reaction surprised him, but it shocked Sajuna even more. How will she react to the revelation?
