So… another post about funny sleeves. It’s official – I have a problem and need to kick this addiction asap. Just look at me.
All joking aside, I hope you don’t mind posting another similar outfit so soon after this post, but Shein sent me a few more and I thought it would be a waste of the beautiful outfits not to share them at least a few on the blog.

And there’s nothing worse than splurging on nice clothes… (unless you’re my dad, then splurging on fine wine is definitely worse.)
I also hope you don’t mind the brick wall reappearing as a background. I prefer to shoot my outfits outdoors when I can, but my photographer (aka husband) is very busy with work these days and doesn’t have as much time for it as he used to
. I have my tripod, but unfortunately I don’t live in London where I can just find a dodgy side street to shoot without anyone bothering me. Let’s just say that if I turned down an odd side street in this town, someone would steal my camera before
I had a chance to make my first pose.
However, I want to do more outfit posts on the blog, not less. So I will visit more interesting places when I can, but I’m afraid you will see a lot of these rocks. I hope it’s okay.
Anyway, enough nonsense. Let’s talk about the clothes!
Despite having a tweed-like look, the fabric is actually quite thin, but with a thermal vest underneath it’s warm enough. Shein is cheap and cheerful, and I won’t claim that the quality is the most elaborate I’ve ever seen, but it’s perfectly acceptable and I’m happy to wear it alone or with jeans and boots.
And I don’t see the point of spending a lot of money on trendy clothes that you probably won’t want to wear for a year anyway.
The skirt is years old. Every girl needs a black A-line skirt in their wardrobe and I’ve always loved the zip details on this skirt – they give it that little something extra.
I bought these ankle boots from Zara at the same time as the over the knee boots I mentioned in my Bow Sleeves post. I love this couple equally. Simple and elegant, with a great shape and practical block heel, they go with almost everything. Perfect for daily use.

Although Sister Jane’s blue and silver floral jacquard dress was not a style I would normally choose, I had high hopes when it arrived in the mail because the pattern was too amazing to pass up.
